Box Score 2 FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The No. 3-ranked Indiana Tech women's hockey team defeated the Davenport Panthers by scores of 10-0 and 12-0 this past weekend.
The first contest was on home ice at the SportONE/Parkview Icehouse on Friday night.
Dakota Bowler netted her fourth hat trick on the season (yes, you read that correctly) and
Megan Yakiwchuk earned her first hat trick.
Izzy Pettem-Shand recorded five assists to go along with her first period score.
Sterling Nesbitt,
Hailey Anderson, and
Ashley Episcopo also scored to help pace the Warriors past Davenport by a final score of 10-0. Isabel Varner earned another shutout victory, only having to make six saves on the night.
Saturday night saw even more sheer dominance from the Warriors. This time it was
Georgia Kusbel who had herself a night, earning her first hat-trick of the season.
Sterling Nesbitt,
Stephanie Stuart,
Megan Yakiwchuk, and
Hailey Anderson also had fantastic nights of their own, with each of them scoring two goals.
Dakota Bowler contributed to the goal-party with her 14th of the season in the final period.
Mackenzie Addley made eight saves on the night in her shutout victory.
The Warriors (9-3-1, 8-0-0) will look to continue their winning ways as they take on Grand Valley State (RV) this weekend, with the home contest being Saturday at 5:30 PM at the SportONE/Parkview Icehouse.
