ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. - The Indiana Tech men's basketball team got what felt like a much-needed win this weekend as they defeated the Rochester Warriors, 61-57.
Grant Smith was the high-man, scoring 18 points to go along with 12 rebounds, good for his fourth consecutive double-double on the young season.
Rog Stein also had a solid game, contributing 12 points and five rebounds on the day while
Josh Kline chipped in nine points and 2 rebounds.
Indiana Tech won this game with defense, holding Rochester to just 32.8% shooting from the field, 26.1% from the three-point line, and blocking three shots. The Warriors also shot better than average from the charity stripe, connecting on 81.5% of their free throws.
Tech (4-4, 2-2 WHAC) will look to keep the Road Warrior trend going with a matchup at Aquinas (6-2, 3-1 WHAC) on Tuesday night at 7:30 PM.
