GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Indiana Tech women's soccer team saw its season come to an end Wednesday night in the quarterfinals of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament with a 3-1 loss to the No. 12-ranked Aquinas Saints at Aquinas Athletic Field.
The Warriors made the Saints work, as they wouldn't give up a goal until the 43rd minute, trailing 1-0 going into the break.
The Saints would strike again in the 53rd minute and then again in the 66th minute, holding a 3-0 lead before
Olivia Sherman would score her second goal of the season off of an assist by
AnnaBella Kowalczyk in the 89th minute.
Aquinas kept the pressure on Tech throughout the entirety of the contest, out-shooting them 25-9, which would be the key difference-maker.
Indiana Tech concludes the season with a 9-10 overall record, finishing 5-6 in conference play.
