LIMA, OHIO – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team fell to No. 22-ranked University of Northwestern Ohio 4-1 in their final conference game of the season Wednesday afternoon at Racer Stadium.
How It Happened
- The Racers wasted no time in getting pressure on the Warrior defense and goalkeeper as they scored twice in the first 30 minutes of the game and outshot Tech 13-0 in the first half.
- Kate Wallace took advantage of a misplay by the UNOH goalkeeper in the 47th minute to cut the deficit to 2-1 as the Orange and Black looked to fight their way back into the match.
- The six-time defending Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) champions kept the Warriors to just the one goal though, and doubled up their own score with goals in the 63' and 89'.
