FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Men's tennis held their undefeated status in conference play today by defeating Cornerstone 6-1.
The Warriors swept the doubles matches with
Brunno Storani and
Juan Avellaneda opening at the number one with a 6-2 win.
Agustin Cortes Flores and
Tyler Sinclair partnered up at the number two to win 6-1 while
Jafer Infante and
Raybin Chan combined for a 6-1 win at the number three.
Storani competed at the one in singles and fell in three sets while
Avellaneda won 7-6 in the first set with a 7-3 tiebreaker and then took the second set 6-4 for the victory.
Kayra Kargin played at the number three and won 6-1 and 6-0 before
Emilio Bowen won at the number four 6-3 and 6-0.
Cortes Flores won at the number five 6-1 and 6-0 while
Infante won at the number six 6-0 and 6-1.
Tech is back on the court Saturday, April 3
rd when they challenge Huntington at 1 p.m.
