FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Men's Tennis faced Huntington on Saturday and defeated their rival 6-1.
Tech opened the match with a battle to the end in the number one doubles position. 
Brunno Storani and 
Juan Avellaneda competed and came out victorious with a 7-6 win after a 7-5 tiebreaking win. 
Alvaro Gomez and 
Agustin Cortes Flores then competed at the number two and had a similar match where the pair won 7-6 with a 7-4 tiebreaker. At the number three, 
Jafer Infante and 
Raybin Chan defeated their opponents 6-4 for the Warriors to sweep the doubles matches.
Emilio Bowen played at the number one singles position for Tech and came up short 7-5 and 7-5 to give Huntington a glimpse of a comeback. 
Avellaneda ended that quickly at the number two with 6-4 and 6-3 set win while 
Kayra Kargin solidified it even more with a 6-2 and 6-4 set victories at the number three. 
Cortes Flores won at the number four 6-2 and 6-4 while 
Chan dominated at the number five winning 6-0 and 6-1. 
Infante ended the match at the number six with 6-3 and 6-1 wins to earn the Warriors the 6-1 victory over Huntington.
Tech is back on the court Tuesday, April 6
th against Marian at 12 p.m.
