Tech Uses Three Second Half Goals to Down Pilots

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The No. 18-ranked Indiana Tech men's soccer team defeated regional rival Bethel University 3-1 Saturday afternoon inside Warrior Athletic Field to keep their record perfect through eight games.
 
How It Happened
 
  • Bethel scored the first goal of the game in the 38th minute and held the lead until the last half hour of the match
  • Maxwell Amoako netted his fourth goal of the season in the 61st minute to knot the game up at 1-1
  • Jonas Kahlmann put the Warriors up 2-1 in the 75th minute while Jose Uvidia added an insurance goal in the 89th minute to put a bow on the 3-1 come-from-behind win

  • Tech outshot Bethel 23-6, and had a 13-3 advantage in shots on goal. The Warriors also held a decisive advantage in corner kicks with a 9-1 hold
  • Pep Casas, Luke Jones, Noe Garcia and Amoako all recorded assists on the day
