FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The No. 2-ranked Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team kept up its winning ways Wednesday evening as they defeated Taylor University 19-2 in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action at Warrior Athletic Field.
 
How it Happened

• The first half of the first quarter was a bit slow as far as offensive fireworks were concerned, but once Sam Anderson scored with 6:35 to go in the period, the flood gates were opened as the Warriors scored five goals before the clock struck zero on the opening quarter.
• Tech continued to pour in the goals in the second with six more while not allowing a single shot from the Trojans in what proved to be a runaway win for the Orange and Black.

 
Inside the Box Score

• Louis Czech led the team with four goals while Simeon Bodley had three goals and seven ground balls.
• Joe Steigmeyer notched his first career goal with 5:42 to play in the second quarter.
• Chad Nebal made four saves to pick up the win.

 
Tech (9-1, 4-0 WHAC) returns to action Saturday as they travel to No. 9-ranked Siena Heights University. Opening face-off is set for 7 p.m. from O'Laughlin Stadium.
