FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Men's tennis pulled out the 5-2 win over Holy Cross College earlier today for senior day.
Brunno Storani and
Juan Avellaneda paired up for a win at the number one singles position 7-5 before
Emilio Bowen and
Alvaro Gomez won at the number two 6-3.
Jafer Infante and
Raybin Chan fell at the number three 6-4.
In singles,
Storani came up short at the number one before
Avellaneda won at the number two 6-2 and 7-5.
Bowen continued his success from doubles into the number three singles match where he won 6-1 and 7-5 with
Kayra Kargin winning a tough match at the number four after losing the first set 7-5 he came back to win the next two 6-2 and 7-5 to take the match.
Infante earned a win at the number five defeating his opponent 6-4 and 6-1 while
Sinclair came up short falling in a tiebreaker in the first set and dropping 6-4 in the final set.
The Warriors are back home on Wednesday, April 14
th at 4 p.m. when they host Spring Arbor. Â
