YPSILANTI, Mich. – Men's tennis ended the regular season yesterday with a 7-0 win over conference rival Concordia to end the season 4-1 in conference play.
Brunno Storani and
Juan Avellaneda kicked off the match at the number one doubles position with a 6-1 win over their opponents.
Tyler Sinclair and
Agustin Cortes Flores them teamed up at the number two and held their opponents scoreless to win 6-0.
Jafer Infante and
Emilio Bowen did the same at the number three to win 6-0 and sweep the doubles in favor of the Warriors.
In singles,
Storani earned his second win of the day at number one with two 6-0 set wins before
Avellaneda won both sets of his number two match with 6-0 and 6-1 wins.
Bowen also continued his success from doubles with two 6-1 set wins to win his number three match before
Flores won his number four match with two 6-0 set wins.
Kayra Kargin represented the Warriors at the number five with two 6-0 set wins and
Infante won at the number six with two 6-0 set wins.
