ADRIAN, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team saw its 2021 season come to a close Tuesday evening in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament Quarterfinals against Siena Heights University with a 16-6 loss at O'Laughlin Stadium.
How It Happened
- The Saints got out to a 7-0 lead, including two goals in the first six minutes of the game to put the Warriors on their heels and the visitors never recovered.
- Tech broke the shutout with 15:25 to go in the first half following an Abby Barkdull goal, but the Saints responded with a five more goals in the first half to take a 12-2 lead into the locker room.
- Siena Heights tacked on two more goals in the first three minutes of the second half to keep the momentum and cruised the win in the conference tournament.
Tech finishes the season with a 5-5 mark.
