FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech baseball team earned a pair of splits with the University of Saint Francis (Ill.) and Cornerstone University this weekend at Warrior Field, winning 12-8 and 5-1 while falling 14-7 and 11-7 (13 innings), respectively.
Tech found itself down early with 11 runs by the Saints in the first two innings and couldn't catch up despite 12 hits of their own. The Warriors made things interesting with three runs in the bottom of the seventh, but Saint Francis got out of the jam to take the opener.

Christian De Los Santos and
Mike Snyder, powered the offense.
A four run seventh from Tech proved to be the difference in game one against Cornerstone following solo shots by both teams, with
Yeshua Saint knocking in the go-ahead run with a double while Snyder legged out a triple to drive in two insurance runs.
The 13-inning marathon to end the weekend featured comebacks from both teams, with Cornerstone leading 4-1 after two innings while the Warriors led 7-6 heading into the top of the ninth. After tying the game in the ninth, the Golden Eagles knocked in four runs in the 13
