LIMA, Ohio – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team saw its season come to an end Saturday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament with a 2-0 loss to No. 20-ranked University of Northwestern Ohio inside Racers Stadium.
How It Happened
- UNOH raced out to an early lead as they scored four minutes into the game and controlled the action, outshooting Tech 10-2 in the first half of play.
- The Racers peppered the Warriors with eight shots on goal in the first 45 minutes, but Christina Wynn made six saves to keep the Orange and Black in the game.
- UNOH made it a 2-0 game with a penalty kick in the 63rd minute.
- Dani Blagojevic had a pair of shots on frame in the final 20 minutes of play but could not get them past the Racers keeper as Tech fell to UNOH for the 12th straight time.
