FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Women's tennis competed against Eastern Michigan University of Friday and came up short in the 7-0 loss.

Abigail Simms and Isidora Hrnjak competed at the number one singles position and dropped 6-1 while Ver Jimenez and Marianna Murcia fell at the number two 6-3. Carolina Fabbri and Thaina Carvalho had similar luck at the number three and lost 6-1.

Moving into singles, Jimenez had a difficult opponent at the number one and fell 6-3 and 6-2 while Simms came up short at the number two with 6-2 and 6-0 set losses. Murcia fell 6-3 and 6-4 and Martina Borges lost 6-0 and 6-0 at the number four. Carvalho lost her number five match with two 6-2 set losses while Ana Gomez fell at number six.

The Warriors are set to face Marian University at 12 p.m.
