FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Indiana Tech men's basketball team stayed hot this weekend, as they defeated Rochester by a final score of 69-53 on Saturday evening for their seventh consecutive victory.
Cory McKinney led all scorers, dropping in 18 points on 7-13 shooting from the floor to go along with three rebounds and two steals.
Rog Stein filled up the stat sheet in a big time way, pouring in 16 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.
Josh Kline nearly had a double-double as well, contributing 10 points and eight boards.Â
Tech used their advantage inside to dominate the paint once again, out-scoring Rochester 34-22 in that area. The Orange and Black also held the opposing Warriors to just 34.5% shooting from the floor, including 25.1% in the second half.Â
Indiana Tech (19-6) sits all by themselves atop the WHAC standings (13-2), 2.5 games out in front of the second placed Madonna Crusaders. Tech will look to avenge their November loss to the Gray Wolves of Lourdes (18-5, 10-5 WHAC) with a rematch in Sylvania, Ohio on Wednesday, with tip-off being at 8:00 PM.
