FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The women's volleyball team hosted Lawrence Tech on Saturday in the Schaefer Center for their senior day and last regular season home game. The Warriors honored six seniors before the match, resulting in a 3-1 victory for the Warriors. Scores of the sets were 25-18, 25-14, 13-25, and 25-13.
Tech put down 44 kills as a team on an attacking percentage of .230 for the match.
Taylor Paul led the Warriors with 17 kills and
Havilyn Cummings with 8. Tech served six aces as a team, with
Noelle VanOort and
Olivia Gessner serving two.
Andrea Schriver recorded 26 assists, while
Kelsey Schaldenbrand added 11.
Jacey Blust recorded 18 digs, and
Taylor Sorg posted 2 blocks.
The Warriors will finish the rest of their season on the road. Tech travels to Concordia University for their next match on November 2. The Warriors are 30-3 against the Cardinals, winning their matchup from September 14 of this season 3-0.
