GARY, Ind. – The No. 25 ranked Indiana Tech men's basketball team traveled to Gary, Indiana, Saturday to take on the RedHawks of Indiana University Northwest. A final score of 70-59 in favor of the Warriors improves their record to 3-0 for the young season.
Tech was led by
Josh Kline, who posted a game-high 19 points in his 23 minutes. He shot 6-8 for the field while going 7-10 from the free-throw line.
Rog Stein and
Grant Smith put up 12 points for tech while grabbing 10 and 11 rebounds, respectively; Smith also dished out a team-high 5 assists.
Steve Helm and
Lucas Lehrman gave Tech a lift off the bench scoring 8 a piece while also bringing down 4 rebounds. The Warriors shot 40.0% from the field while going 5-16 from three-point land.
Tech is back in action Wednesday night for their first home game, where they host the Saints of Siena Heights University, with the game set to tip off at 8:00 PM. The Warriors won the last meeting between the two with a 74-54 final score.
