HIRAM, Ohio – The Indiana Tech women's wrestling team traveled to Hiram, Ohio, on Saturday to take on Siena Heights University, Lourdes University, and the host Hiram College in quad-dual. The Warriors walked away with three wins with 24-18, 25-11, and 35-5 final scores.
Highlights for the Warriors were
Makayla Young winning all her matches via TF at 109.
Zoe Van Riel went 3-0 on the night, winning with a fall, a tech fall, and a decision.
Andrea Hernandez also went 3-0 for the Warriors in the 130-weight class, winning via fall in all three matches.
Tech travels to Coralville, Iowa, to participate in the inaugural Soldier Salute. The event takes place December 29 and 30 and includes eleven teams from all divisions of college wrestling.
