MARION, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's basketball team closed the year in Marion, Indiana, with a 70-66 win over the Wildcats in Lucky Arena on Friday night. Tech improves to 13-2 on the season and remains 6-1 in conference play.
Rog Stein led the Orange and Black with 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist.
Grant Smith tallied 13 points while adding 3 rebounds and a team-high 5 assists.
Josh Kline contributed 11 points for Tech while grabbing a team-high 5 boards and dishing out 2 assists. Tech shot 50.9% from the field tonight, 20.0% from three-point land, and 68.8% from the free-throw line.
The Warriors start 2023 on the road as they take on the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers on January 4
th in Lima, Ohio. Tech took the last meeting 85-52 on February 23, 2022.
