MARION, Ind. - The #10 seeded Indiana Tech men's basketball team fell to the #2 seeded Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats in the NAIA Opening Round Final by a final score of 70-47.
The Orange and Black hung tough in the first half, leading the majority of the way, trailing by four at the break. Grand Smith, the former Wildcat, led the way for the Warriors with eight points, draining two triples in the half.
Things fell apart in half number two, as Tech greatly struggled to score the ball, only totaling 13 second half points, and would drop the contest, 70-47.
Rog Stein was the high man, finishing with 14 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
Grant Smith followed him with 11 points and three assists.
The Warriors finished the season with a 26-8 record, capturing the WHAC regular season title, and winning 20 games for the seventh consecutive season.
