The Crusaders were the first to strike but it was not long before Reinhard answered with a goal around 30 seconds later. With that goal, the Warriors got on a roll. They managed to score three more goals in the quarter, coming from Buhr, Reinhard, and Wilson, giving their team the 4-1 lead. The offensive dominance continued in the second, scoring eight goals to Madonna's three. Wilson started things off for the Warriors, scoring at the 13:31 mark before Buhr scored another at 9:37. The hosts answered with a goal of their own, but the Warriors scored two straight after that behind the efforts of Barkdull and Wilson. The Crusaders were able to put two more on the scoreboard; however, the Warriors were too much to handle as they scored four more with goals coming from Reinhard, Donally, and Wilson, giving Tech the 12-4 lead.
Madonna was the first to strike after the break before the Orange and Black answered back with two straight goals by Barkdull and Buhr. The hosts were able to score two more times in the quarter, but the Warriors continued to respond, scoring three more to take the 17-7 advantage. Things were scoreless in the final quarter until the 11:40 mark where Reinhard put one in the back of the next before two more goals by the Warriors gave them the 20-7 lead. The Crusader were able to score once more, but it was not enough as Tech's lead was too much.
The Warriors travel to Rochester University Saturday for a 1 pm matchup.
