SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team fell to No. 1-ranked and undefeated Lawrence Tech, 18-5, in the semifinals of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament Thursday afternoon at Blue Devils Stadium.

Abbey Wilson and
Jordan Donally all scored for the Warriors with Reinhard and Donally notching assists. Reinhard added four ground balls, a draw control and a caused turnover while Wilson had three ground balls, two caused turnovers and won a draw. Burh caused three turnovers, won three draws and picked up two ground balls while
Sydney Oberdorfer made eight saves in the cage.
Reinhard put the Warriors ahead first with a goal at the 13:45 mark, but the Blue Devils tied it up 18 seconds later to start a 6-0 run over the next six minutes, with f our of the goals coming from the 13:27 to the 11:13 marks. Donally stopped the run at the 4:45 mark, but LTU got right back at it with an answer from Sydney Robinson with 3:51 to play in the first that started an 8-0 run over the next 19 minutes go give the hosts a 14-2 lead at the half.
Ricci converted a power play opportunity with 11:07 to play in the third, but the Warriors would not score again the rest of the quarter while the Blue Devils tacked on three more goals to extend the lead to 17-3 and never gave the visitors a chance for the comeback.
Tech finishes the season with an 8-6 record and 6-3 mark in conference play. The Warriors have finished with a .500 or better record every year since the program started in 2010 with the exception of the 2020 season that was cut short due to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
