ANGOLA, Ind. -- Indiana Tech opened the 2022-23 women's golf season with a 5th-place tie at the 12-team Trine Women's Invite at Zollner Golf Course on Friday. Grace College won the event, followed by the host Thunder, Grace (B), and Olivet College. Julia Bockstahler (T-10th) led the way individually for Tech, carding a plus-12 84, seven shots back of Grace's Summer Stillson, who took home medalist honors. 

Mai Intanant was the next-best Warrior on the day, finishing in a tie for 20th with an 89. The Warriors return to the course September 5-6, 2022, in a two-day event hosted by Huntington University at Brookwood Golf Club in Ft. Wayne.
