FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The No. 13 ranked Indiana Tech women's basketball team ends the 2022 calendar year with a 71-69 win over the University of Saint Francis Cougars. The Warriors move to 12-3 on the season and 6-1 in conference play.
 
Kyra Whitaker led Tech in scoring with 18 points while she added 2 rebounds and 4 assists to her stat line. Erika Foy posted another double-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists. Taylor Covington and Juliana Burris both tallied 10 points for Tech while adding 2 rebounds and 5 assists for Covington and 4 rebounds and 2 assists for Burris. The Warriors shot 50% from the floor as a team and knocked down 8 threes on 25 tries.
 
Tech is back in action on January 4^th as they travel to Lima, Ohio, to take on the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers in a WHAC matchup. The Orange and Black won the last matchup 77-26 on February 5, 2022.
