FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's hockey team took on the University of Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines in a weekend series, winning the first game on Friday night with a 3-2 final score. Game two was played on Saturday, where the Warriors won 4-0 over the Wolverines. Tech improves their record to 19-3 on the season.
Game one of the series was held in Dearborn, Michigan, on Friday night, where the Warriors came out on top with a 3-2 final score, with goals for the Warriors coming from
Michelle Borland,
Genessie Williams, and
Dakota Bowler. The Orange and Black recorded five assists on their three goals, coming from
Izzy Pettem-Shand (2),
Mikayla Kalverda, Michell Borland, and
Megan Yakiwchuk.
Game two was in Fort Wayne at the SportONE/Icehouse where the Warriors were too much for the Wolverines in a 4-0 victory. Scoring for Tech were

Allison Greene. Recording assists for the Warriors were

The Warriors have three games this coming week, hosting Aquinas College for game one of their series on Wednesday in Fort Wayne, set to start at 3:15 PM before traveling to Minot, North Dakota, for a weekend series with Minot State University.
