JACKSON, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's and women's bowling teams traveled to Jackson, Michigan, over the weekend to compete in the third WHAC Jamboree, where both teams earned the top spot on the podium. The women's team claimed their second WHAC Jamboree title of the season, finishing first of sixteen teams with a total score of 7424 (4125 team, 3299 baker). The men's team also took their second WHAC Jamboree title this season, claiming the top spot of eighteen teams with a score of 7534 (4145 team, 3389 baker).
The women's team was led by
Jordan Downham, who finished second overall with a total score of 931, averaging 232.75 pins/game through four games.
Jillian Treska was another top-five finisher for the Warriors, finishing fifth with a score of 864 for an average of 216 in four games.
Morgan Nunn finished 21
st overall, knocking down 784 pins in four games for an average of 196 pins/game.
Meagan Kennedy and
Natalie Schildhouse finished back-to-back at 24
th and 25
th, scoring 778 and 768, respectively.
Brandon Haney led the men's team with a first-place finish, knocking down 914 pins in four games for an average of 228.5 pins/game. Alexander Horton finished 12
th overall with a score of 866, averaging 216.5 pins/game.
Parker Laubach bowled three games for the Orange and Black with a score of 631, averaging 210.3 pins/game.
Jayden Combs also bowled three games for Tech, averaging 604 pins with an average of 201.3.
Race Lowder finished with a total of 592 in three games for an average of 197.3.
The men's and women's teams travel to Allentown, Pennsylvania, for their next contest, competing in the Keystone Quaker Classic, starting Tuesday, December 19.
