LANSING, Mich. – The men's bowling team's season came to an end in the 2026 NAIA Men's Bowling National Championship as the team fell to Mount Mercy in the NAIA Semifinals. During the tournament, sophomore Malakai Pettrie was named an NAIA Third Team All-American.
 
In Round 1, the 5^th-seeded Warriors defeated 12 Seed Ottawa 2-0. In the first leg of the Mega Match, Indiana Tech defeated Ottawa with a total pin count of 1046 to Ottawa's 988. Tuna Boncu led the way with a game score of 233. The Warriors then defeated Ottawa in a Baker match with a score of 1010 to 918.
 
In Round 2, Indiana Tech defeated 4 Seed Calumet-St. Joseph 2-1. Indiana Tech took the first leg of the Mega Match 1061-1055. Tuna Boncu led the way with a game score of 267. CCSJ took leg two with a 1140-1011 win. In leg three, Indiana Tech won 4-1 in the best of seven Baker Match.  
 
In Round 3, Indiana Tech fell to 1 Seed Mount Mercy 2-0. Mount Mercy won leg one 1017-930 and leg two 888-876.
 
In the consolation round, Indiana Tech defeated 4 Seed Calumet-St. Joseph 4-1 in the Best of Seven Baker Match, which sent the Warriors to the NAIA Semifinals.
 
Indiana Tech fell to 1 Seed Mount Mercy 2-1 in the Semifinals. Indiana Tech took leg one 1074-946. Cameron Kilgore led Tech with a game score of 247. Mount Mercy took leg two 1064-995 and leg three 4-1 to end Indiana Tech's team season.
 
Pettrie, named to the NAIA All-America Third Team, is the first men's bowler to be named an NAIA All-American since 2023-24 when both Brandon Haney and Alex Horton were named First-Team All-Americans.
