Columbia, Ky. – The No. 12 ranked Indiana Tech men's wrestling team had an impressive showing at the NAIA Challenge Duals hosted by Lindsey Wilson over the weekend, defeating Lindsey Wilson 33-12, Reinhardt University 24-14, the University of Rio Grande 39-12, and the University of the Cumberlands 19-15.

Tech fell behind three points as Lindsey Wilson took the 125-lb match.
Elijah Anthony got things going for the Warriors, kicking off a seven-match win streak for Tech with a 23-8 tech fall win.
Conner Kimbrough won via a 15-0 tech fall.
Chase Pluhar picked up 4 points for the Warriors with a 13-5 major decision win at 149 pounds.
Elijah Chacon kept things rolling as he won with the Warriors' lone pin of the dual over William George.
Jonathan Kervin won with an 18-3 tech fall.
Landon Buchanan won 5-1 over Cory Cannan, and
Trevor Stuyvenberg picked up 6 points via a forfeit. Tech dropped the 197 and 285 matches, but it was a little too late for Lindsey Wison as Tech won 33-12.

The Orange and Black dropped three points in the 125-lb match, but a 15-0 tech fall win from
Elijah Anthony gave Tech 5 points. The Warriors surrendered 8 points in the 141 and 149-pound matches, but
Nate Wheeler kickstarted things for Tech, winning 11-0 over Devin Griffen.
Jonathan Kervin picked up a massive 9-7 decision win over the No. 1 ranked wrestler in the NAIA, Matt Jenkins.
Landon Buchanan won 13-1 over Wyatt Higgins, and Leonardo Galasso picked up a 17-1 tech fall.
Nathan Critchfield earned 3 points at 197 pounds with a 4-1 win over Curtis Thomas as the Warriors won 24-14.

Against Rio Grande,
Allen Calderon got things rolling with an 18-0 win over Layton Vennon. Steve Garty pinned Phillip Balis in 00:53 at 133 lbs. to pick up 6 points for the Orange and Black.
Conner Kimbrough took 6 points off a forfeit before the Warriors dropped the 149-pound match.
Elijah Chacon picked up a 5-3 win over Mitchell Freeman, and
Jonathan Kervin pinned Brennen Greene.
Griffin Bekish won 20-4 at 174 pounds over Aiden Greene.
Trevor Stuyvenberg and
Jacob Brandt closed things for the Warriors, as Stuyvenberg pinned Ashton Simison, and Brandt won 5-3 over Anthony Parks, winning 40-12.
Cumberlands Recap
Tech picked up wins in the 125 and 133-pound matches to get things started, as Calderon and Anthony won 8-1 and 13-3, respectively.
Nate Wheeler picked up a 13-8 decision over Weston Milnes, and
Jonathan Kervin won 9-2 over Weston Melvin.
Nathan Critchfield earned 4 points with a 16-5 major decision win, and
Braydon Erb closed things out for the Warriors with a 5-2 win, which helped Tech win 19=15.
The Warriors are back in action on Saturday as they host Cleary University in the Doug Edgar Indoor Track Facility for a conference dual.
