FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's wrestling team hosted the 2026 WHAC Championships with eight schools coming to Fort Wayne for the event. Tech would finish the tournament as runners-up as Marian claimed the title.

Despite the Warriors not being crowned team champions for the first time in WHAC history, they would still have a number of impressive individual performances. Jonathan Kervin and Nathan Critchfield would win WHAC titles, while five Warriors would be runners-up, and ten would punch their ticket to the NAIA National Tournament!

The WHAC season awards would also be presented at the conclusion of the tournament. Jonathan Kervin and Nathan Critchfield would be first team all-conference with Kervin being named WHAC Wrestler of the Year. Tyler Hisey, Luke Rioux, Conner Kimbrough, Vinnie Abbey, and Ian Clifford would all be second team all-conference. Clifford would represent Indiana Tech on the Champion of Character Team, which is comprised of one player from each school who best represents the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership. Indiana Tech also had ten Warriors named to the All-Academic Team, which consists of sophomores or above in academic standing with a cumulative 3.25 GPA or better who have attended their school for one full year. Representing the Warriors was Landon Buchanan, Cameron Clark, Andy Collier, Nathan Critchfield, Trevor Hisey, Tyler Hisey, Jonathan Kervin, Lukas Selph, John Stivers, and Michael Tharpe.
