SAINT MARY'S, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's volleyball traveled to Saint Mary's, Indiana, on Friday night to take on the Saint Mary-Woods Pomeroys in game one of two that they will play in as many days. The Warriors needed only three sets to get the job done as they took down Saint Mary-Woods 25-19, 25-17, and 25-23.
 
The Warriors displayed a dominant performance trailing only once in the match when the score was 7-8 in the first set. Tech went on a 6-0 run from that point to jump to a 13-8 lead and never looked back, leading the rest of the way in set one and never trailing in sets two and three.
 
The Orange and Black put down 32 kills as a team, with Dante Siracusa recording a team-high 6. Daynte Stewart served 3 of the Warrior's 8 service aces, followed by Joey Hermes with 2. Brandon Jones continued his usual task of leading Tech in assists, recording 22 of the Warrior's 32. Jon Fonda led Tech with 3 blocks. Joey Hermes added 6 digs.
 
Tech takes on Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College for their second game of the week on Saturday before heading home to take on Lawrence Tech for their third game of the weekend on Sunday.
