FORT WAYNE, Ind. --
Khanan Bodley scored the second of his two goals with 1:05 left in the fourth period to lift Indiana Tech to a season-opening 11-10 win over former Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference rival Davenport University on Saturday in brisk conditions at Tech's turf field. The Warriors trailed the Panthers 10-7 heading in to the fourth quarter, but the Orange & Black scored the game's final four goals to claim the comeback victory.
Aran Heath scored three goals in his Warrior debut, matched by
Josh Bramley's three finishes. Bodley's two goals both came in the fourth, while
Samuel Bodley,
Cooper Langille, and
Nate Langille also scored.
Kyle TwoBulls 19 saves were also key to Tech's comeback.
The Warriors face a second-straight NCAA Division II opponent to start 2023, as they host Rockhurst University (Mo.), on Feb. 18.
