GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The Indiana Tech men's volleyball dropped two matches at Georgetown College (Ky.) over the weekend, falling 3-0 to No. 8 Menlo College (Calif.) Saturday before a 3-1 defeat to the host Tigers, ranked 6th, on Sunday. The Warriors are 2-4 on the young season, with all four losses coming at the hands of Top 10 foes.
On Saturday, Menlo (5-0) got on the board with a late set-one run that turned a 10-10 tie into a 25-18 victory. The Warriors and Oaks battled down the the wire in set two, as
Raekwon Rogers,

MC's Edin Ibrahimovic then put away a kill to give the Oaks a 23-21 cushion, before giving a point right back to Tech on a service error. At 23-22, the Orange & Black couldn't turn its serve in to a point and a final
Mason Milan kill wasn't enough to avoid the 25-23 defeat. The Warriors fell behind early in the third frame and couldn't scratch back closer than 13-9 en route to another 25-18 setback.
Stewart had nine kills in the match on a team-best .412 hitting percentage. Milan contributed seven kills, while

Tech then forced consecutive GC errors, one from the service line to draw level once again, forcing extra points. Tech finished the game with consecutive errors of its own, falling 26-24.
The Warriors put together their best attacking set of the weekend in the second, hitting .333 with 13 kills. After a back-and-forth start to the frame,
Dylan Poore gave Tech its first lead, 18-17, and another at 19-18 with two kills.
Logan Gamero forced a GC timeout with a kill of his own that staked the Warriors to a precious 20-18 advantage. Another Gamero effort put Tech up 22-20, followed by
Dante Siracusa's swing that forced another Tiger timeout at 23-20. It was Siracuse that eventually put the set away, turning a Jones set into the winning kill.
Georgetown controlled much of the final two frames, winning 25-20 and 25-15 to take the match 3-1.
