A significant factor in the game was rebounding. The Orange and Black out rebounded the Firestorm 42-26 and scored 10 second-chance points while they allowed 0 by ACU. That was the difference maker in the tight contest as the points in the paint favored Tech by 2 points but balanced out with the Firestorm as they scored 2 more points off turnovers.
