Warriors Drop Both at Lourdes

SYLVANIA, Ohio - The Indiana Tech Warriors faced off against the Lourdes University Gray Wolves on Monday, March 20th, at the Gray Wolves' home field, Mercy Field, in Toledo, Ohio. Despite putting up a valiant effort, the Warriors were unable to secure a win, falling to the Gray Wolves in both games. The Warriors move 11-5 overall and 0-2 in conference play.

In game one, the Gray Wolves got off to a strong start with Wyatt Smith taking the mound, but the Warriors answered back with Zach Zaborowski. Parker Bates and Christian Mojica led the way for the Warriors, with Bates going 2 for 4 with 2 RBI and Mojica going 1 for 3 with 2 RBI. On the Gray Wolves' side, Harrison Jackson had a standout performance, going 2 for 4 with 4 RBI, while Ryan Jagodzinski went 3 for 4 and scored 2 runs.

The game was a back-and-forth battle, with the Warriors entering the top of the 7th inning down 6-7. However, an RBI walk from Mojica and a sacrifice fly by Tyler Stahl gave the Warriors a one-run lead. Unfortunately, the Gray Wolves responded with three singles from Jackson, McEachern, and Noble, allowing them to score 2 runs and secure a narrow 9-8 victory over the Warriors.

In game two, Coley Stevens took the mound for the Warriors, while Joey Oehlers started for the Gray Wolves. The Gray Wolves dominated the game, winning by a score of 15-5. Christian Mojica had a solid performance for the Warriors, going 2 for 3 with 2 RBI and scoring 1 run, while Tristan Osika went 2 for 4 with 1 RBI. For the Gray Wolves, Harrison Jackson continued his impressive showing, going 1 for 2 with 3 RBI, while Joel Suraganan went 2 for 2 with 3 RBIs and scored 3 runs.
