FORT WAYNE, Ind. -The Indiana Tech Warriors suffered a tough loss in their conference opener against the Concordia University Cardinals with a final score of 11-12. Despite a valiant effort from the Warriors, the Cardinals proved too much to handle on Saturday afternoon in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The game started with a quick goal from the Warriors'
Samuel Bodley, assisted by
Josh Bramley, which put Indiana Tech up one. However, the Cardinals quickly responded with five consecutive goals from Travis Wright, Cross Papadelis, Hunter McCarty, Evan Stuart, and Noah Sorenson, giving them a four-goal advantage.

The Warriors fought back with two goals from Bramley and
Avery Smith in the last two minutes of the first quarter, bringing the score to 5-3 at the end of the period. The second quarter saw an even more impressive effort from Indiana Tech, with goals from Bodley,
Aran Heath, and
Khanan Bodley, which tied the game at 6-6 going into halftime.

However, the Cardinals came out strong in the second half, scoring five unanswered goals and taking an 11-7 lead going into the final quarter of play. Indiana Tech continued to fight back, with goals from Bodley,
Devin Macomber (2), and Bramley, but it was not enough to secure a win.

Despite the loss, the Warriors showed resilience and determination throughout the game, and there were several standout performances. Bramley had a particularly impressive game, with three goals and two assists, while Bodley also had a strong showing, with three goals and one assist.

The Warriors will look to bounce back in their next game as they host the Taylor University Trojans on Wednesday afternoon, with the game set to start at 2:00 PM.
