FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Indiana Tech's men's lacrosse team rolled over the visiting Taylor University Trojans 26-3 on Wednesday afternoon.
14 different Warriors registered at least one point in the blowout victory.
Devin Macomber led the way with 13 points, scoring five times and assisting eight goals, all in the first half as the Warriors led 20-0 at the break. The Warriors would add six more goals in the second half with
Aran Heath scoring two of his five goals on the day in the fourth quarter.
Nate Langille contributed to the Warriors lopsided victory with nine points, scoring a hat trick and picking up six assists.
Josh Bramley and
Samuel Bodley would also pick up hat tricks in the win.
Kyle TwoBulls made 12 saves for the Warriors and earned his seventh win on the season.
Payton Kelm and Langille led the Warriors with three caused turnovers each, while
Tristan McKneely led the way with eight ground balls. The 26 goals scored for the Warriors is their second highest total so far on the season and the three goals allowed is the second least the Warriors have surrendered.
Tech now sits at 7-3 on the season and 1-1 in conference play. The Warriors will play at the University of Michigan Dearborn in their next game on Wednesday, April 5
th at 7 pm.
