Warriors Score 30 in Series Sweep Over Wolverines

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech baseball team hosted the University of Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines in a conference doubleheader on Saturday afternoon, where they took the first game with a dominant 15-4 win. The bats stayed hot in game two as the Orange and Black put on another offensive display, winning 15-11. Tech moves to 24-9 overall with a 10-6 record in conference play.
 
Tech offensive was electric in game one, with many players recording multiple hits. Jayden Reed went 2 for 4 at the dish with 2 doubles and a run. Carson McNulty saw the ball well as he went 4 for 4 with 1 RBI and scored 3 runs. Alex Watkins went 3 for 4 at the plate and batted in 5 RBIs. Ryan Uhlenhake went 4.1 innings on the mound, earning the win with 5 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 7.
 
Christian Mojica was the story for the Warriors in game two. Mojica went 4 for 5 at the plate with 2 home runs (3-run & solo) and two 3 RBI doubles that were just feet short of grand slams, with both hitting part way up the wall to bring his RBI tally to a staggering 10. Brice Stultz went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI and 3 Runs. Jacob Daftari had 1 hit in 2 at-bats knocking in two runs while scoring 3 himself. Luke Myers got the start and the win on the mound for the Warriors.
 
Tech will take on Concordia on the road, in Ann Arbor, in their next game. The Warriors hold an all-time record of 45-18 against the Cardinals and won their latest meeting 2-1 on May 5, 2022.
