Marian University players prevailed in the doubles matches and controlled the single duels from 1 to 3 to guarantee the 4 points they needed to win. Wins on superset in the first and second singles matches were crucial in the final score.
 
In the doubles, Juan Avellaneda and Michel Zobel won 6-1, but their effort needed more to get the doubles point since Marian won the other 2 doubles games.
 
The singles matches were very competitive, with each school winning 3 of the 6 matches played. Juan Avellaneda, Andres Pizzamiglio, and Jorge Rodriguez scored Indiana Tech's points, but Marian's doubles point made the difference in the final score.
 
The Warriors are now 6-9 in the season and preparing to hit the road again on Wednesday (April 6), to face Lawrence Tech in Southfield, Michigan.
