Warriors Slay Wolverines in Blowout Victory

DEARBORN, Mich. – Indiana Tech's men's lacrosse team traveled to Dearborn, Michigan Wednesday night to take on the University of Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup. In the contest, the visiting Warriors dominated the Wolverines from start to finish scoring the games first ten goals and winning by a final of 19-4.
 
The Warriors came into the game riding their impressive performance in their previous contest, where 14 different players registered a point in the 26-3 drubbing of Taylor University (Ind.). On Wednesday, Tech matched that total with 14 Warriors again registering at least one point against the Wolverines. Nate Langille led the way with seven points, scoring five goals and picking up two assists. Also putting up impressive performances were Samuel Bodley and Devin Macomber, picking up five and four points respectively. Bodley ended the day with two goals and three assists, while Macomber had a hat trick and two assists. Sam Anderson led the Warriors defensive efforts causing four turnovers and picking up seven ground balls on their way to posting their third lowest goals against in a game this season. Kyle TwoBulls and Sam Siebert both made seven saves in net for Tech, with TwoBulls earning the win.
 
Indiana Tech moves to 8-3 on the season and 2-1 in WHAC play. The Warriors will host Lourdes University (Oh.) in their next game on Saturday, April 8th at 3 pm.
