ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Indiana Tech men's bowling team traveled to Rockford, Illinois, over the weekend to compete in the Leatherneck Classic at Don Carter Lanes. The Orange and Black finished in fifth place in a field of forty teams with a score of 8483.
The Warriors were led by
Brandon Haney, who finished sixteenth overall with a score of 1098 in five games for an average of 219.6 pins/game.
Dylan Bulusan finished 45
th overall with a score of 1043 in five games bowled, averaging 208.6 per game.
Tuna Boncu finished third for the Orange and Black, knocking down 1017 pins in five games for an average of 203.4 per game.
Alex Horton finished next for Tech with a score of 974, averaging 194.8 pins in his five games.
Brent Shroyer bowled three games for the Orange and Black, posting a score of 694 for an average of 231.3 pins per game.
Parker Laubach featured in two games for the Warriors, averaging 187.5 pins per game for a score of 375.
The men's team has close to a month break before their next contest on December 7, as they travel to Sterling Heights, Michigan, for the third WHAC Jamboree of the season.
