SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. 6 seeded Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team battled the No. 3 seeded Webber International Warriors in the NAIA National Invitational quarterfinal on Wednesday afternoon down at the neutral championship site in Savannah, Georgia.
Jake Deacon would get Tech on the board first less than three minutes into the game in a back and forth first quarter that saw the Orange & Black take a 3-2 lead through one.
Samuel Bodley and
Devin Macomber would score in the opening stages of the second quarter to push the Tech lead to three, but Webber would counter, scoring three straight goals of their own to tie the game up at five.
Sebastien Guillaume and Bodley would then score for Tech to give the Warriors the advantage again at 7-5, but Webber would find a way to equalize before halftime as the sides went into the break knotted at seven apiece. The second half would be a bit more defensive as Webber International started to gain a slight edge over Indiana Tech, taking the quarter 3-1 and putting the game up to 10-8 for Webber. Deacon would open the fourth quarter scoring to cut it to a one goal game and after another goal from each side, Webber International would hold an 11-10 lead with just over seven minutes to go in the quarterfinal matchup. However, Tech could not find an answer or way to tie it back up. Webber would go on to add two late goals and win by a final of 13-10 to advance into the semifinal round. Deacon and Bodley would lead Tech with three points each. Macomber,

Josh Bramley would each record two points, while Guillaume and
Nate Durham would each have one. Tristen McKneely would pick up five ground balls and
Nick Craddock would cause two turnovers in the game.
Kyle TwoBulls would play in net for the Warriors making eight saves.
The Warriors wrap up the 2024 season with a record of 9-7 overall, going 6-2 in WHAC play with a second place finish during the regular season. Tech would end with a fifth straight conference tournament title and a national tournament quarterfinal appearance.
