FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's soccer team welcomed the Siena Heights University Saints to Warrior Athletic Field on Saturday for a conference game that saw the Warriors ease to a 3-0 victory.
Tech would get lots of players minutes in this one as they dominated the game from start to finish.
Tiago Dias would open the scoring for Tech with his third goal of the season, coming off a corner kick, assisted by
Gui Moreira in the tenth minute of the game. Moreira would score a beautiful goal from outside the box just six minutes later to put the Warriors ahead 2-0, where it would stay into halftime. Four minutes into the second half Moreira would pick up his second goal of the game and team high fourth of the season after finishing off a rebounded shot from
Saladin Lekhal. Tech would see out the rest of the game, cruising to a 3-0 win and moving to 5-0 in WHAC play. They would finish the game with a 24-3 shot advantage and 13-2 on corner kick.
Alex Kyriakides would make three saves in goal for Tech in the win.
Tech now sits at 6-1-2 overall on the season and will play the University of Michigan-Dearborn on Wednesday, October 2
nd in Dearborn Heights, Michigan at 7pm.
