FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's and women's bowling teams were back in action on Saturday as they competed in the AHBA #3 in Fort Wayne at Thunder Bowl. Both teams would finish first in the event, with the men's team finishing with a score of 6168, while the women's team finished with a score of 5459.
The men's team was led by
Kaden Salts, who finished first with a score of 925 in four games bowled, averaging 231. 25 pins per game.
Tuna Boncu finished right behind Salts in second place with a 889 for an average of 222.25.
Hayden Tarris finished fifth overall, averaging 203 pins per game for a total of 812.
Cameron Kilgore came in eighth with a 782, averaging 195.5.
Malakai Pettrie bowled three games for Tech with a score of 638.
Jayden Combs scored 161 in his one game bowled.
On the women's team, the Warriors would have three finishes in a row as
Jillian Treska finished tied for second with a 735 (183.75 average),
Meagan Kennedy finished third with a 723 (180.75 average), and Bailey VanMeter finished fourth, knocking down 721 pins (180.25 average.
Libby Hurley and
Leah Brazier each bowled three games and finished back-to-back in 30
th and 31
st, respectively. Hurley finished with a score of 526 (175.33 average), while Brazier finished with a 524 (174.66 average).
Natalie Schildhouse bowled two games with a 356.
