STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's bowling team finished sixth out of 35 teams at the 2026 Brunswick Midwest Collegiate Classic at 5-Star Lanes this weekend.
The teams bowled five games on Saturday and then 16 Baker games on Sunday. The top 8 total scores then moved on to match plan on Saturday afternoon.
Indiana Tech was sixth after day one with a score of 4659. The Warriors bowled an 898, a 984, a 918, a 963, and an 896 in five games on Saturday.
Elizabeth Jones was the highest scorer for the Warriors, finishing eighth as an individual. Jones bowled a 1020 in five games, averaging 204.0.
Jordan Downham finished ninth with a 1006, averaging 201.2
Indiana Tech maintained their position on Sunday, finishing sixth after 16 Baker games. The Warriors bowled a 2904 for a total of 7563. Indiana Tech was the sixth seed heading into match play.
6 seed Indiana Tech faced off against 3 seed Lawrence Tech in Round 1. Lawrence Tech won game one 226-220, Indiana Tech won game two 190-186, and Lawrence Tech won game three 197-173 to eliminate Indiana Tech.
Indiana Tech returns to action on October 16 for the NAIA Invitational in Addison, Illinois.
