FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team played Huntington University in an away match at their home court as both schools use Wildwood Racquet Club as their home facility. The Warriors would defeat the Foresters in a close 4-3 contest on Saturday afternoon in their first match of the season.
The Warriors would earn the first point of the day by taking the doubles point as the pairings of

Paula San Jose Menendez and
Criss Daihanna Echavarria/
Nayra Orellana would earn 6-4 and 6-2 victories. During the singles matches
Danica Kuntz would propel the Warriors to a 2-0 lead with two 6-1 victories. Huntington would make it 2-1 overall, but
Criss Daihanna Echavarria and
Paula San Jose Menendez would both win their matches to get the Warriors to four points, enough to get the victory, finishing 4-3.
