KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Indiana Tech's
Taylor Covington was named to the NAIA All-American Second Team as the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released the 2025 All-Americans for women's basketball on Monday morning.
The junior guard started all 33 games for the Warriors this season, tallying 1135 minutes played. Covington led the team in scoring with an average of 16.5 points per game while shooting 38.7% from the field on her way to 544 total points. She also averaged 3.9 rebounds, a team-high 4.0 assists, and 1.5 steals. The Dublin, Ohio, native also joined the 1,000 career points club this season and garnered WHAC Player of the Year honors.
Covington helped lead the Warriors to a 27-6 record, while winning their seventh Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference regular-season title of the last eight years with a 19-1 record. The Warriors also made the round of sixteen for the second consecutive season in the NAIA National Championship after advancing out of their opening round region as a 14 seed.
