GEORGETOWN, Ky. – On Saturday, the Indiana Tech baseball team made a trip to Georgetown, Kentucky, for their final non-conference clash of the regular season, taking on the Tigers of Georgetown College in a doubleheader. Tech would trade games with the Tigers, falling in game one 1-5, before taking the back end of the contest, 7-6.
The series opener was a defensive battle. The Tigers scored one run in the first, as the rest of their offense would come in the fourth frame with four runs. Tech's bats were quiet in the contest, as they scored their lone run in the seventh inning.
Jordan Malott led Tech in game one, going one for one with the Warriors' lone RBI.
In game two, the Warriors got on the scoreboard first with a two-run first inning. The hosts answered with two runs of their own in the second, and a run in the third to take a 3-2 lead after three. Another lead change occurred in the fourth as the Warriors would score two more runs in the frame. A three-run fifth from the Tigers put them back on top 6-4. The Warriors scored one run in the sixth and two in the seventh to seal the 7-6 victory.

Quinn Seefeldt led the team with two hits each.
Colton Leatherman earned the win for the Warriors, throwing 2.1 innings in which he gave up zero runs, one hit, and struck out one.
Tech enters the final week of the regular season with a 28-15 record overall and a 17-5 record in the WHAC. The Warriors now prepare for a trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan, for a doubleheader at Concordia on Wednesday, April 23.
