FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Indiana Tech's Emma Longeuay was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, the WHAC announced on Monday.
 
Longeuay takes the honor after her performance at the Warriors' first home meet of the outdoor season, the Indiana Tech Open, this past Friday. The LaSalle, Ontario, native finished first in the Javelin with a mark of 39.23m.
 
The Warriors are back in action on Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12, as they travel to Indiana Wesleyan for the Indiana Little State Championship meet hosted by the Wildcats.
