GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's volleyball team hit the road for a two-game trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Friday and Saturday. The Warriors' first stop of the trip was at Cornerstone University on Friday evening, where the Orange and Black would fall in four sets 22-25, 17-25, 27-25, and 16-25. At Cornerstone, the Warriors would get off to a fast start, taking an 11-6 lead. This is where the tides of the first set would turn as a 9-0 run from the hosts would flip the score, leaving the Warriors trailing by four. After the shift in momentum, the Warriors would be unable to recover, dropping the first set 22-25. Set two was all Golden Eagles as they led from start to finish, taking the set 25-17. The third set was an even affair until a 9-0 run from the Warriors would put them up 21-15. With their backs against the wall, trailing 18-24, the hosts would with a run to extend the set, but ultimately Tech would come out on top, winning the third set 27-25. The hosts came out of the gates hot in the fourth set, opening on a 7-0 run to grab control. From there, the Warriors would battle, but were unable to overcome the early deficit, falling in the fourth 16-25.

Lauren Paska led the side with 12 kills. Hannah Teich posted two aces. Amelia Schultz led the front line with four blocks, while Elsie McCutchan led the backline with 23 digs. Kristin Matlack would add 20 assists.

At Aquinas, the Saints would control the opening set from the off, grabbing an early lead and never relinquishing control on their way to a 25-19 victory. Tech would battle back in the second set. There, the Orange and Black would hold off the hosts by stringing together two or three-point bursts on their way to claiming the set 25-20. The third set was an even contest the whole way, but with the score level at 24, the hosts would be the ones to tally back-to-back points, claiming the set 26-24 over Tech. In the fourth set, Aquinas would open on a 5-0 run, seizing the momentum. Tech battled throughout the set to stay within striking distance, and while trailing 16-20, would go on a 4-0 run to level the score. From there, the Saints would regain their footing and close the set on a 5-2 run, claiming the match with a 25-22 win in the set.

Lauren Snyder would lead the Warriors' attack with 20 kills. Kassidy Boener added three service aces. Isabella Assaley led the side in both blocks and assists with six and 27, respectively. Elsie McCutchan tallied 22 digs.
