FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The (RV) Indiana Tech men's volleyball team opened WHAC play with a dominant sweep of Defiance on Tuesday.
Indiana Tech opened the first set on an 11-4 run. Leading 11-6, the Warriors used an 8-1 to take a 19-7 lead. Indiana Tech cruised to a 25-10 first set win.
The Warriors opened the second set on a 21-4 run and would take a 2-0 set lead with another 25-10 set win.
Indiana Tech also won the third set 25-10 and took the match 3-0.
The Warriors had 13 aces in the three-set win.
Jensen Yarosh had four aces,
Owen Elliott and
Kristian Kold had three, and
Dylan Poore,
Ben Rosenow, and
Bo O'Leary each had one. Indiana Tech had 24 kills and hit .435 as a team.
Indiana Tech moves to 4-3 overall and 1-0 in WHAC play. The Warriors return to action on Friday at Rochester Christian.
